Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati: Popular Cincinnati Sugar n' Spice Diner will be opening a new Blue Ash location. The new diner will be at the Approach at Summit Park with an opening date in the summer. The new location's menu will be roughly the same as the other locations but with a slightly reduced lunch menu. (WXIX)Da'Quan Payne, 30, was sentenced to 170 months in prison following a 2019 drug-trafficking investigation. Investigators with the Norwood Drug Task Force, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Cincinnati Police Department made five purchases from Payne throughout the investigation which lead them to a warehouse containing various illegal substances. Investigators recovered eight guns, fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and large sums of cash from the warehouse. (WXIX)Hamilton County Commissioners approved a measure to create a regional foundation with the purpose of directing millions of dollars to respond to the ongoing opioid crisis. Last year, $800 million was paid out by multiple opioid manufacturers and distributors as part of a settlement with the county. This money will flow through a state-level foundation before entering into the regional foundation that was just approved by Hamilton County.
