Description
Press release from the City of Plymouth:
May 30, 2020
The Plymouth Public Safety Department has been actively monitoring events as they unfold in the Twin Cities. The Plymouth Police Department is operating with increased personnel throughout the weekend, which allows the department to manage calls for service and closely follow developments in the metro area.
The Plymouth Police Department regularly coordinates and plans for regional emergency response, and is in close communication with local and state law enforcement agencies to assess potential threats as events evolve.
Over the past week, Plymouth police have been working with suburban police departments in Hennepin County to develop contingency plans and ensure departments are able to assist one another, if needed.
While Plymouth has not imposed a curfew, the Public Safety Department encourages residents to call 911 to report unusual or suspicious activity.
