Funk Guitarist and Bassist Wanted

Are you the funkiest one in town? (if so, please respond) Funk band forming in yucca valley. So far we are a drummer and a guitarist who also plays bass. We have a common vision that resides in the intersection of funk and rock i.e. P-funk's Standing on the verge of getting it on but we also like Prince, Betty Davis, Big sam, Dumpstaphunk, etc. In other words raw funk infused with rock grit. Primarily looking for a guitar player (rhythm preferred with funk experience) and a bass player. Extra points if you can play both. BUT if you play another instrument i.e. keys, clav, horns, b3, baritone sax*, vocals we would love to hear from you. Basically, if you can play the funk at (a high level*), we would love to hear from you. We have a rehearsal space in yucca valley and plan to practice two or more times per week. We are JUST getting started but we have a strong work ethic and a deep love for the music we want to make. We are very excited to eventually be playing shows regularly and recording... for now we are just recruiting and refining songs. If this resonates with you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
