Re-Democrats are giving us a huge lesson in economics (Working doesn't pay the cost of living so what's the use) Democrats want Americans to be dependent on government for everything. The old saying: "You will own nothing, and you'll be happy". The Dems want the government to own everything and then dole out food, goods and services to citizens as needed, or as they see fit. This is usually called 'socialism', or communism'. But a lot of Americans think it's a good idea, unfortunately. Here's a couple of economic lessons that many people may not realize: ** Out of the $2 TRILLION "covid stimulus package", only about 10% of that money actually went to "covid stimulus". ** Out of the $1.75 TRILLION "Infrastructure Package", only about 9% of that money is actually going to roads and bridges. Where's the rest of the money? Over the last 2 years, your government has charged up more than $7 TRILLION on YOUR CREDIT CARD, called the 'National Debt' Apparently, very little of that money has gone, or is going to the intended cause... Think about that. Government doesn't "Make" money, they can only "Take" money. They just took $7 Trillion from us over the last 2 years, claiming their trying to "Help" us. So far, they have given us back very little.
