Description
Have you always wanted to design a fairy house?
A multi-faceted group is developing a large collaborative effort focusing on fairy homes & gardens for the weekend of May 28-29.
Our goal with Lexington's Fairy Home & Garden event is to bring people of all ages together, Artists, Creatives, and Local Organizations, as they create fairy homes and to further our sense of community through creativity and enjoyment of nature.
There are 2 events - The Walking Tour in May invites people and organizations to create small fairy houses to be on a town-wide walking tour into Enchanted Villages all the way from Lexington Center to East Lexington, with stops into
Tower Park and the Community Center.
This event will also have lectures, workshops, and more.
The second event: Creating a big Fairy House for the Patriots Day parade,
The parade "float" will be three large fairy houses pulled behind three bicycles. Gathered around that will be the rest of us joyfully waving and carrying flags, banners, and giant flowers. Some of us (ALL AGES) may be wearing fairy wings.
