Description
If the idea of tastefully playing a small kit as part of a greybeard five-piece casual band that plays, say, perhaps 2, 3, or 4 non-paying tiny-venue gigs a month, just for fun, not for money, then please do read on.
We're building our early sound around the song "Travelin' Light" by JJ Cale (studio version). Have a number of songs in that vein we're slowly working on, for back-of-the-cafe type gigs. Because we're thinkers, may over time (years probably) evolve in complexity until it turns into one long pure math-jazz-blues composition-jam per gig (lol), but always staying inside that low-volume chill vibe -- but for now, just easy-loping covers and perhaps the occasional low-key original.
The experienced gigger in this start-up is a multi-instrumentalist who played for some years in a pro- semi-pro regional cover band back in his youth. So yes there is gold of solid experience shining through the rust and weeds.
So if this-all sounds like a fun possibility for you, please do say hi.
