Description

Due to personal circumstances and no fault of their own, my 2 bonded rabbits are looking for a new forever home together. Shadow is a 5.5yo gray American Chinchilla/Lionhead mix spayed female rabbit. Rutabaga is a 4yo black and white Rex neutered male rabbit. I have certificates of spay and neuter for both of them. I have had both of them since early 2018 and they have been bonded together since then. Shadow is a bit of a sassy lady and is the boss in their relationship (she talks with little grunty sounds sometimes). But you can find both of them snuggling and grooming each other regularly. They're both curious and playful, and they're well-behaved for all necessary grooming and care activities (brushing, nail trimming, etc.) Shadow needs her Lionhead mane groomed about once a week to make sure it doesn't get matted. They will both sit in your lap for petting, but they would both rather hang out while you sit on the floor and have toys and treats for them and come to you for petting. They are both fully litterbox trained to go in a cage of bedding made available to them. They have always lived indoors. But they have lived in both a bunny-proofed room/house situation and in a gated enclosure situation like in the photos. They do enjoy going outside occasionally, either inside of a bunny-proof fence or on leash in their harnesses. They both travel well together or alone in a crate and are good at the vet's office (though they've only ever needed to go for check-ups and their spay/neuter surgeries. They've never had an illness and have always been in good health.) They eat a good diet of free-choice hay, 1 full serving of rabbit/hay pellets in the morning, and a serving of some variety of greens/lettuce/veggies/and occasionally fruits in the evening. (They're also currently spoiled and each gets one biscuit type cookie w/ breakfast, which they both take very gently from your hand.) Neither one is food aggressive and can be petted while eating. They can roam while you clean their cage and room/area and will come curiously poke around to see what you're doing but won't do anything mean to you. They're both comfortable around kids, cats, and dogs. As I said, they're a bonded pair and must go together to their new home. I'm also offering all of their habitat, enrichment, and care supplies pictured to go with them. This includes: - 1-Purple plastic/wire cage and 1-Green plastic/wire cage (has a removable plasticstep/tunnel w/ a built-in feed dish) - 1-Red ceramic feed dish, 1-metal hanging feed dish, 1-large plastic water bottle w/ coil strap & clasps to attach to a cage or fence panels, 1-Purple plastic hanging hay basket, 1-Lime Green metal hanging hay ball - 2 sets of tall metal fence panel enclosures w/ clips and ground stakes (also plastic zip-ties), 4 sets of rainbow small animal fence panels (3 sets are currently zip-tied together to make another tall fence set) - 2-plastic storage container with locking lids (currently used for food/treats and hay), 3-large bags Kaytee Timothy Hay, 3-small bags Oxbow Botanical hay, 1-bag Oxbow Rabbit feed pellets, 6-bags biscuit cookies, 3-Two-pair packs honey/seed stick treats, 3-lava chew blocks, 2-bundles willow chew sticks, 1-rolling treat dispensing ball, 1-treat hiding problem-solving toy -2-large bags natural paper bedding and 2-small bags lavender-scented odor control paper bedding - 1-pair nail clipping scissors, 1-Purple wire brush, 1-Black & blue rubber grooming glove, 2 bags Critical Care powder, 2-feeding syringes, 1-partial tube Panacur deworming paste(they were last dewormed a year ago when they were living with other animals but have not been dewormed or showed any signs of having any parasites since), 1-bottle KwikStop powder - 1 soft travel totes, 2-harnesses w/ leashes (The Purple one is Shadow's and the Light Blue one is Rutabaga's.) - 1-large clear rectangular Rubbermaid storage container w/ lid and clasps (Also, these things are very used and you probably don't want them, but they're also available to go with the rabbits if you so choose: 1-corner cat tower w/ hiding hole, 1-flexible wooden rainbow chewing/hideaway bridge, 1-Red plastic hiding Igloo, 1-wooden chewing/hiding crate, 1-gray/white fleece blanket (has a rip in the corner between the two layers), 1-small Blue pet bed (has a small hole in the middle), 2-used but easy-to-clean rugs) These rabbits are offered together to a GOOD, FOREVER HOME ONLY.
