Gog is the ancient name for Russia, Gomer is the ancient name for Ukraine mentioned in chapters 38 and 39 in the old testament book, Ezekiel. I have been told "religious posts" do not belong here in the "politic" category section of Craigslist, I don't actually believe "people" have an issue with this being in this category as much as they have an issue with the Bible itself. That being said, with what's happening TODAY with both Russia and Ukraine, this IS a political event foretold 600 years before Jesus's birth, my point being, how can you have one without the other, a political event and at the same time a Biblical event. Israel is the key here. Ukraine does not have issues with Israel presently, but in this biblical account, they are a part of a federation that will descend on Israel to attack them. So what changed ? What changed is "IF" Russia does conquer Ukraine, it will be in name only that "ukraine" is attacking Israel. In this case as in real life, the "book" is better then the movie, for in the Bible, this federation of nations will fall on the hills of Israel, to be food for all the birds that will flock there for this great feast. So THAT is WHY Putin is attacking Ukraine, he insnt so much interested in Ukraine as he is in Israel until he gets turned into bird food. Disagree all you want and deny it all you want, but it's taking place right in front of you, right now ! The Bible is not the Best Selling book of all time for no reason. And if you hate talking about "religious things" what are you going to do when someone does not suggest, but demands you take a mark in your right hand or between your eyes just so you can go to the grocery store for food to feed your family ?? Tell them, "You don't talk about religious things?" Good luck with that one.
