We are a reputable UNION wallboard distribution company located in Elk Grove Village looking for individuals to assist our crane operators in unloading and stocking interior construction products ( drywall, insulation, metal framing, etc.) Job does require heavy lifting at times, but most deliveries are done with carts, pallet jacks and forklifts. This job is perfect for a person looking to work outside with different places to go everyday and not having your boss look over your shoulder. This job is on the low end of UNION pay ( $17.00/hr- top scale for this classification) however, the goal would be to eventually train you to become a CDL driver and crane operator where you can make some REAL MONEY. This is an entry level position. Hours vary, but overtime ( time and half after 8 hours) is a guarantee. Most guys work 50+ hours per week.
