We have made the difficult decision to re-home our beautiful, smart, energetic dog - Kinsley. We adopted her as a puppy and she has grown up in our family. Our life and careers have changed so much in the last few years that we have to be honest and fair with her and ourselves, so we have decided that re-homing her will be best. Between long hours, out of town time, daily routines, and more, we simply do not have the capacity for her any longer.
Kinsley is a Black Lab/German Shorthair Pointer mix. She is 9 years old now but thinks and acts like she's 4! She has been fixed since she was a puppy. She has been healthy all her life, no issues, no injuries. She is incredibly smart and active. She learns tricks and habits quickly when a little consistency is applied. She would love tons of exercise and/or lots of property to explore. She absolutely loves to swim, run, and play fetch. She has loved the times that we've taken her to explore in the mountains or swim in the lake, then curl up and crash by the campfire. She's great around all people and kids, never any issues there. She rarely barks. She was/is house-trained (spent her first several years as an indoor/outdoor dog and the last few as a garage/mudroom/outdoor dog). She loves to ride in the back of a truck. She is very low maintenance but we still cannot give her the fun active life we feel she deserves, and she has plenty of great years left in her.
We're asking a small re-homing fee of $200 which will include her dog run, doghouse, beds, food, treats, toys, training collar & remote (we only use the 'beep'), and of course Kinsley, a wonderful dog for a fitting person or family. Please contact us if you are interested and we can set up a time soon for you to meet her and see if she would fit well into your life!
