Do you remember 7ish years ago ending things with your FWB? You worked in Glendale at the time and she lived nearby, working part time while going to college. The map shows the major cross streets near where she lived. You'd met off of craigslist. She had acted badly towards the end (i.e. wanting more than you were willing to offer at the time, being a little, or a lot, possessive). Well she has never forgiven herself for her behavior and would like to apologize.
You would be well within your right to tell her to go fuck herself and never speak with her again. But she would like to open the door between you again. Even just a crack. She misses talking to you so very much, and still thinks of you often.
