Full-time tree work/landscaping position open year round. Ideally, looking to hire a long term employee, but seasonal help is welcome, also. Previous experience with tree work is preferable, but not necessary.
Higher pay and advancement opportunities available for those interested in a tree climbing apprenticeship. Machinery is used as often as possible; employees would not be required to lift over 50 lbs. Paid ISA certification is available for long term employees.
A typical workday may consist of mulching, lawn mowing, landscape installations, tree removal, pruning, and other tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities may include operating machinery, such as:
-chainsaws
-chippers
-stump grinders
-basic rope rigging
-tractors
-weed whackers
-backpack blowers
-lawn mowers
-driving a truck & trailer, etc.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience. Applicants must have a proven track record of punctuality, responsibility and safety compliance, as well as a valid driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from work is a must.
Work days range from Monday through Friday, 8 to 9 hours per day. Weekend and extended hours are available.
This position is eligible for paid time off and holiday pay.
