JANITORIAL WITH POOL/SPA MAINTENANCE Experienced year round janitorial individual needed for 261-unit condominium complex in Edmonds. 40-hour work week, year-round – Friday through Tuesday schedule. Some pool and spa maintenance will be involved after training. Responsibilities: • Help assure that building equipment, tools and work areas are maintained in proper order and condition. • Assist in monitoring of security of buildings. • Help maintain pools, spas, and surrounding areas. • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the owners and residents. • Operate and maintain power equipment, as well as hand tools related to the position. • Make minor repairs and adjustments to tools and equipment used. • Sweep/blow walkways, remove debris, and leave areas in a clean and orderly condition. • Vacuum common areas of the complex. • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: No less than 6 months Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Capable of performing heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying materials and equipment. • Demonstrate proven ability to operate all tools (both power and manual) and equipment with competency. • Experienced at providing excellent customer services. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. • Highly motivated and able to work independently. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team. • Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information. • Proficient in verbal and written communication. Licenses and Certifications: Education: A high school diploma or GED • Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation required. • Pay commensurate with experience level. • Full employer paid benefits, paid holidays, sick days, & vacation time.
