We're seeking a passionate Animal Care Attendant to join our highly vibrant and fun team at Spanish Springs Pet Resort! We're searching for someone that shares our enthusiasm and immense love for animals. Can you provide the most incredible level of care for the animals at the facility while also providing outstanding customer service to our long-term clients? Perfect! You are the perfect fit for this exciting position! Experience working in a kennel is preferred but not essential. This is an entry-level position starting at $12 with the potential for advancement to $15. We're seeking full-time and part-time employees to join our energetic team. Key Responsibilities Ensure keen supervision of all pets in the facility’s yards. Ensure the removal of animal droppings from all yards within the facility. Feeding and caring for the lovely animals we have in the facility. Ensuring the house is clean at all times. Ensure all the laundry work is done well. Properly communicate with other staff members throughout the day. Sanitize all the play yards within the facility. Sanitizing and cleaning all the water and food bowls for the animals. Properly sanitize and maintain a clean facility. Maintain a warm personality and a welcoming attitude. Organizing and relocating the pets within the yards. Job Requirements Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism. Ability to take initiative and to act in the best interest of the animals with minimal or no supervision. Ability to maintain self-sufficiency after training. Computer skills are highly preferred but not required. Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to quickly learn animal behavior and body language. The ability to keep up with a fast-paced working environment. We would prefer someone who has some experience working with animals but we encourage all interested individuals to apply. Special/Physical Requirements Ability to withstand varying weather conditions. Ability to lift/carry 25+ pounds. Confidence to work with animals with a variety of temperaments, as well as those who may need medical care. Strength to handle and control large dogs on leash.
