20 yr I can play that part, let’s have some fun . . . . . . . . . . just kind of came together and did their own thing. It's not always a masterclass of masterful, certified, elite musicians making perfectly harmonious sounds. It can be surprisingly crude and untamed and yet still speak to a crowd. I have written a song, along with fragments of others which I will continue working on. We can write them together, perform them together, and with enough practice, we could be good enough to play festivals and more. I am a vocalist mostly rock, southern rock, blues rock, Dirty Honey, The Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers. Bad Company, Molly Hatchet etc. Other genres include 70's some 80's and 90's grunge/alternative I’m a late-forties rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist who is looking for something different. I want to play original music (I have a handful of songs) and/or “deep track” covers. I’m not interested in playing songs that have been played to death by FM radio. I’m also not interested in playing more than a few gigs a year. My influences include: Classic Rock (The Band, Beatles, Stones, Tom Petty), Alt-Country (Wilco, Son Volt), Indie (Deerhunter, Shins, Spoon) and other guitar-based rock.Local eastside band with great gigs booked for outside this summer needs a bass player familiar with classic rock from 70s, 80s, 90s and some others. We have a sound company booked for our PA needs. Great gigs in nice places all outside in under cover stages. Lights, smoke, sound it's a great show. Gigs start in May so we gotta get our set list down. We've been playing together for awhile so we're tight just need you. Bass Guitar and amp is all you need hit us up it's a great gig. Let me know if you have similar interests. I have been out of the local scene for quite some time, but would be interested in puting together a solid hard rock project to play out once a month (give or take). Ideally 2 guitars, bass, drums and fronted vocals in the styles of Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Kiss, Buck Cherry etc...I am not looking to go on tour, nor develop addictions...just wanna take out a solid band again.
