I am a drummer and I am looking for people to play with. I don’t care what age you are but you should know I am 52. I’ve been playing drums since I was a teenager. I was in a number of bands, one was called Dogfight, it was 2 drummers, 2 bass players and then a horn section. And another called Burning Bush, which was all female, punk. I’ve opened for: Bikini Kill, L7, Godspeed You Black Emperors, Screaming Trees, Meat Puppets, Le Tigre, Green Day (god forbid, it was a long time ago), and Hole. But that’s a long time ago and just tells you I can play the drums. Here’s what I’m looking for. I want to get together with others to make music. That’s really it. It’s important that it’s just creative, it doesn’t need to be traditional, a 4 piece whatever. We should just be willing to be creative together and not have a specific structure. I have space to get together in the basement so that’s not a worry. Just reach out and we’ll talk. Then come over, let’s jam, let’s see who connects and why and if we like this, let’s keep going.
