Description
Seeking a experienced Deck Hand who is familiar with Stone crab, Lobster or Shrimp type of commercial fishing. Must motivated and dependable person who can follow direction and pay attention to detail. Prior working knowledge on a hydraulic trap hauler is strongly preferred but not required. This is a physically demanding job and hard work is part of the job description.
Duties include hauling/baiting through 550 traps per-trip/day and able to lift, move and carry 45-60 lb traps repeatedly.
Schedule is a 4 day work week (M-Th) - weather permitting. Hours can be between 5am - 4pm but typical day is 5:30a - 3p.
Pay is $500 to $600 a week depending on experience. Pay day is on Thursday.
MUST HAVE own transportation to and from work.
