If you tend to go away on weekends and during holidays a lot this is not a position for you since our high season is during the holidays and weekends when clients travel. IMPORTANT: I am currently looking to hire a new team member who lives in Crown Heights, who is okay with traveling to other areas that we service when there isn't work in Crown Heights. We have clients in Bushwick, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bed-sty, Ridgewood, Crown Heights, Cypress Hills & Flatbush. Would like someone experienced in this but willing to train the right person who is passionate about animals. Your first 3 months are a probation period. If you work well and fit with my business, I will keep you on long term. Independent contractor position - background check - contract to sign - able to commit 6 months minimum - Misc-1099 given at the end of the year. - you will pay your own taxes - paid per job, not by the hour, pay: $10 - $25 depending on the job Ideal candidate - have a fairly flexible schedule meaning you are available when needed. - Pet/Cat sitting : Monday - Sunday (no blocked off days must be available for all) you will be asked to make one-day visits; any time of day or twice a day visits - one in the morning and in the evening. - Dog walking : available M - F between the hours of 10am - 7pm and sometimes on the WEEKENDS for last minute requests. - must be comfortable with cats, other small pets, dogs of all sizes and breeds. - have a professional demeanor and well dressed. No sweat pants or cut up jeans. - are friendly and passionate - is responsive to texts and calls in a timely manner (very important) This is not a regular job with an office. Think of it as Uber for dog walking and pet sitting. Requirements: - Own unlimited MetroCard - the travel gets costly if you don't already have one. - A current smartphone - We have our own app! (IPhone preferred) - Tech Savvy with Apps in general. You will be punching in and out of the app for jobs. Our pet sitting services to our clients range from multiple visits per day to an overnight stays with a cat or dog. You must be available to spend the night in a client's home to be considered for the position. -Note - This should not be your only source of income. This is a part-time job with part-time pay. We are looking for those who are true hustlers and have a love of animals.
