Press release from the City of Oakdale: August 6, 2020 The City of Oakdale is grateful for the response and level of interest that we have received for our food truck event scheduled for Saturday, August 8. However, we are anticipating crowds to exceed the state mandated maximum of 250 people at an outdoor social gathering, and are concerned about our inability to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed. We have also been contacted by the Attorney General's office about the potential growth of the event. Unfortunately, the Mayor has announced that this event has been canceled. We thank everyone for their support and understanding. We are taking these actions in the interest of public health and safety. This press release was produced by the City of Oakdale.
