Description
Balto is looking for a new home. We brought him here from Oregon with high hopes. He is an amazing dog, very trainable, loving, and overal a great dog. Problem is, he is too active and playful for our older Maltese/Yorkie. The older dog is stressed and does not like the puppy. Balto needs a large yard, other younger dogs or active dogs or owner to be around. I don't know how he would be with kids. I imagine in future, he would be very protective, but now, he is just a puppy and may run them over when he is in hyper mood. He is not fully house trained but he is getting there. Most of the time, he will wimper and sit at the back door, but he still has accidents or if we aren't quick enough, he may go in the house. He is learning though. He knows how to sit and is very receptive to learning and pleasing his owner! But he is still a PUPPY with TONS of energy. So be prepared for that. I would NOT suggest other smaller animals or older ones to be in the same household. Feel free to contact me with questions about him. Balto has the marking of a black lab, but the face of a pit. He is so awesome and I honestly think he will be an amazing companion in the future. But for now, he just isn't working out for our household. Here is a list of his BOD, shots, and then below that is what we are offering to go with him: To be honest, I don't understand all the shots, but as of now, he is all caught up on the shots he can or needs. 11/17/2021 - Born: 1/12/22 - 1st Shots - DHPP+L 2/2/22 - 2nd Shots - Shots and Deworm 2/25/22 - 3rd shots/rabids certification I will include all paperwork we have for him. Currently we have an appt for his final shots in 3 weeks and to be netured. I have been taking him to Dr. K's Pet Clinic in Nampa. Today I got his Rabies tag and certification. Along with the above shots, I am also including: A large wired two door kennel - Which he will go into when you say "goto bed". Well most of the time he will. Many toys, including some of his favorite ones. A medium/large soft pet bed. The rest of the food we have for him when you come check him out and make sure you are ready for him. We are asking to break even with what we've put into him with the shots/kennel/toys, etc which is actually more than $500. So we figured that would be a good re-homing fee. Dan
