The 8th Annual MTC Nursing 5K. Students have chosen this year to host a Nursing 5K Color Run. Students will roll, run, or walk the beautiful MTC campus this Spring. We will add to the Spring colors with a color run. Be prepared to have a dose of color added to your shirt as you participate in the event. Color powder is used, using safe ingredients including cornstarch, natural minerals (for non-dust explosive purposes), and FDA approved dyes. This means that they are safe for you and your family. They are also completely biodegradable, not interfering with our resident geese and pond. Proceeds from the Nursing 5K will go into the nursing activity fund to help with cost such as the nurse pinning ceremony, graduation, and other student nurse cost. We appreciate the support of family, friends, faculty, alumni, and the community. We are happy to provide a healthy community activity through this fun event. Race starts at 9am, please arrive 15- 30 mins before the start of the race. T- Shirt and packet can be picked up on the day of the event in front of Health Technologies (HTC) Building. Participants park in student lot 5 and 6. Must order by March 17th, 2022 to guarantee t-shirt order. After March 17th, 2022 it is per availability. Wear a white shirt for full effect of a color run.
