Custodial Position P/T Second Start is reorganizing our maintenance and custodial structure. We run a High School, an Adult Education center and First Start Children’s Center (daycare). We are looking to fill an open janitorial position on our maintenance crew. The position involves performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep our facility looking its best. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom, hallway, and bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, mopping and trash removal. Other responsibilities will include stocking bathrooms, washing glass doors, dusting and disinfecting surfaces. Ideally, we are looking for Approx. 3 hours/day, M-F evenings, and one weekend shift for a total of 18-20 hours per week. However, we can adjust hours as needed for the right candidate. Extra hours on weekends and holidays, will be available, if interested. The qualified candidate will be able to work independently, have an excellent attendance record and have reliable transportation. Candidate must also be able to pass a criminal background check.
