Design and create your own customized batch of natural soap!
Make your own batch of soap in this hands-on workshop led by Jaël Marvil of Jaël’s Natural! You’ll learn how to use botanical and other natural ingredients to make soap from scratch using the cold process method. Everyone will design and create their own batch of soap to take home.
With Jaël’s guidance, you will select botanicals, colorants and an essential oil blend customized for your tastes. This is a fun and information-packed class that includes instructions, recipes, and a supplier list to take home.
The BYOB workshop will cover:
- How to work with lye safely (you're going to measure and mix your own)
- How to formulate a great soap recipe
- Where to buy supplies
- Everything about soap making that you want to know!

Born in Haiti, Jaël Mervil was diagnosed at a young age with skin sensitivity to fragrance, dye and other allergens. She learned how to make natural and non-irritating skin care products, first for herself then to sell at large. Jaël's products are NOT mass produced, but are hand-crafted in small batches.
