Sami grew up surrounded by diverse musical influences such as Gospel, Country, Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, EDM, and Classical. All of which come together in a unique blend that gives his music that unexpected kick. After deciding to leave his small town and head for the big city. Now he is based in Tulsa, pioneering new waves as part of the New Tulsa Sound. Sami describes his music as Indie ElectroHouse with a splash of Neo-Soul; themes wise, he writes about various aspects of the human condition: depression, suicide, love, life, and that small spark of hope we all cling to. Sami’s main goal for his music is to become anthemic for his listeners; that they feel parts of their own stories seen, acknowledged, and expressed. Sami an independent artist and producer and multi instrumentalist is releasing his debut 13 song album “Where I Can Sleep. It is self produced with a majority of the album being performed by Sami himself. Along the album is accompanied but amazing performances from local Tulsa Talent featuring Jasmine Taylor, Pia dell, Angel Grip, and St. Louis based artist DLLN. He is continuing a long Tulsa tradition of self starters by releasing the album completely independent and DIY. Sami began teasing the track early this year in January with several social media posts. Later releasing the album art work and announcing the release of the albums first single and announcing the featured artists.
