Free admission science night for Long Beach families; hosted by the Aquarium of the Pacific with a focus on STEM learning in early childhood The Aquarium of the Pacific is excited to be having the first Family Science Night of 2022, with support from the Mayor's Fund for Education and sponsored by the Boeing Corporation and Miller Foundation! STEM skills are crucial to early childhood development and it's never too early to start! Join us to learn easy ways to incorporate the fun of science in your daily routine. Explore the aquarium after-hours and participate in family activities led by aquarium educators. Admission is FREE, but limited to ticketed attendees only. All attendees, including children, must have a ticket. Aquarium of the Pacific safety measures All guests ages two and over are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times. The Aquarium requires both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests and staff to wear a mask both indoors and outdoors. Guests who are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons may request an exemption by presenting a letter from a doctor. Guests may temporarily remove their masks when eating while sitting six feet from others outside of their household. All masks must be at least two layers, not have vents or valves, and scarfs, bandanas, and gaiters are not allowed. Those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine must still wear a mask and follow all safety protocols. Those who do not follow this policy will be asked to leave.
