Master Carpenter/Builder looking to put a crew together to remodel his own home in Falmouth. Frame to finish work to include small detached garage along with large addition and whole house remodel. The bulk of the work is to begin in a few weeks but I can probably keep at least one guy busy with some odd tasks (400' PVC fence around the property, pack up house for work to begin, tear down old garage, etc) in the next week or so. The more you can do the longer I can keep you busy but please be honest about your skills and abilities. After 40 years of doing this professionally I have seen and heard it all and will know the truth very quickly so lets skip that step and see if we can work with what you do have. I do expect you to have a strong work ethic and hand tools commensurate with your level of trade experience. I have shop on the property and a full compliment of power and specialty tools as as well as a tractor for some of our heavy moving and lifting. We will also be working closely with subcontractors I am familiar with as my wife and I will be living in the home during this process and time is of the essence so you must be a team player wiling to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I work 7 days a week 12 hours a day typically but will probably have to work even more this summer to keep my wife comfortable come next winter. You will be expected to work Monday-Friday 8-4:30. If you are the type that has things that often come up preventing them from working a full week, again, save us both the time and effort. I am looking for dedicated, hard working, skilled men and women that want a serious gig this spring, summer, fall and perhaps beyond.
