Enjoy a festive and educational evening while supporting a worthy cause! ***Capacity is only 26 seats - Reserve your spots now*** "Swing into Spring" is a benefit event for Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary at the delicious and wildly popular plant-based restaurant, Wildseed. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by a Goatlandia goat guest of honor! Then start your evening with a hand-crafted cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage while bidding on unique items in the silent auction. For dinner, enjoy a special four-course meal to celebrate the new season. Goatlandia founder Deborah Blum will share behind-the-scenes tales about starting and running a farm animal sanctuary. From city girl to goat herder, Deb's stories are funny and heartwarming, and many are also bittersweet. So, grab a drink (and maybe a tissue), and listen in. In the end, you'll understand why she has chosen to devote her life to saving farm animals and living compassionately for animals, people, and the planet. To round out the evening, we proudly welcome our special guest speaker, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau. Affectionately known as The Joyful Vegan, the best-selling author and podcast host will talk about the joys and benefits of living vegan, debunk some myths related to plant-based cooking and nutrition, and answer your questions about the typical challenges and misconceptions.
