Let's make'em sparkle! Don't come to this workshop not expecting to get dirty! We'll show you the same process we use to go through bikes we are tuning up from tip to tail, cleaning as you go and inspecting for safety and other issues. Along the way we will talk about the dizzying array of lubes and cleaners that you have to pick from and our recommendations on what to go with. While it may seem trivial, keeping your bike clean goes a long way in prolonging the life of your bike and keeping costly repair bills at bay. And while it might not be proven with empirical data, we're convinced that a clean bike is a happier bike is a faster bike! Bring: -your bike -work clothes to get dirty in -a drop-cloth or old sheet to lay out under your bike -rags (if you have them - cut-up old t-shirts work great!) We will provide: -work stands -cleaners and lubes -tools By the time you leave at the end of the workshop you'll have almost a brand new bike! **We ask that you consider wearing a mask for the comfort and safety of all participants** **This class will be limited to 15 attendees** Speed & Sprocket Cycle Works is a mobile bike shop that offers mechanical services including tune-ups, repairs, and instruction on all types of bicycles, as well as bicycle and accessory sales. We are able to bring our services to your location and perform work on the spot or pick up your bike, work on it, and return it to you.
