Saxophonist Extraordinaire, Henry Nava, performs & is honored by the House Arrest Band & friends for his more than 8 decades in music! On March 10, after introductions, around 7:10 p.m., Mr. Henry Nava takes to the stage to do what he's done for more than 80 years which is sharing sweet, smooth saxophone sounds. Nava will be backed by the always popular, House Arrest Band, managed and directed by guitarist, John Grimaldo. Featured Vocalist are House Arrest's lead singer, Freda Ramey and guest vocalist, Colene Riffo of Co & Company Jazz Band. The audience can expect jazzy, funky, danceable and fun with a mix of tunes ranging from nostalgic standards to classic, danceable old-school. Based on the buzz already happening and rate of ticket sales, we're expecting a sold out event so it's advised to get your tickets early! Happy Hour & Jazz Prior to Event: If you want to be in the building early, there's enjoyment planned for that too. The Tom Etchart Jazz Trio with Tom Collins/Guitar, Ken Rollins/Keys and Tom on Bass will be performing for happy hour in the area, 4 to 7p.m. Food: The 805live organizers have arranged for a good food truck to park just outside The Grape so folks already there don't need to run out for dinner. Or, if preferred, Yolanda's Restaurant is just next door. Bases are covered! Bottom line, get your tickets early, come early, hangout for happy hour cocktails and jazz in a really cool and artfully decorated and designed spot, be there for when the big show starts!
