Course Dates; Wednesday May 18th, 6pm-9pm and Saturday May 28, 8am-5pm This is a two session course designed for those without an internet connection or access to a computer, or prefer hands on learning. The first session will be Wednesday evening from 6pm to about 9pm. during this session you will be assigned homework and start in on the class topics. The second session will be May 28th from 8am to about 5pm. This Skills and Exam Session will include 8 hours of classroom instruction on the follow topics: Survival/first aidLandowner relationsHunter ethicsMaine hunting lawsHands-on practice of safe bow equipment handlingHands-on instruction of map and compass and outdoor survival At the skills and exam session, students must demonstrate to the instructor that they can safely handle a bow, and must participate in workshop and session activities, bring a survival kit and pass a 50-question exam with a score of at least 70%.
