City of Somersworth Historic District Commission Presents: A Three-Part Workshop Series for Somersworth Residents! This is a three-part workshop series for residents to understand the value and benefit of historic resources and support citizens and property owners who are interested in preserving these resources. These workshops will provide an opportunity for residents to learn tools for conducting researching on and rehabilitating historic homes. Join us on March 23, 2022 at 5:45pm in the Council Chamber for our second workshop: Exterior Historic Paint Colors, Presented by Leigh Schoberth With thousands of color options, how do you choose what is historically appropriate for your house? This lecture will delve into color trends through various periods and how color choices related to architectural styles. Audience members will come away with a framework for how to use paint to enhance and preserve their home’s style and character.
