Our Permit and Inspections Technician travels to client sites around the South Bay Area to meet with building inspectors for post-installation final inspections.  Entry-level applicants are welcome! As the Simply Solar Permit and Inspections Technician, you will:Travel to client sites around the Bay AreaPrepare completed solar systems for final inspectionMeet with building inspectors for post-installation final inspectionsRecord technical corrections for our solar crews and electricians Required Skills:Valid CA Drivers license and clean driving recordMust be comfortable with heights/on roofsExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detailHigh school diploma or equivalent required  Ability to climb stairs and two-story ladders, walk on roofs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, and operate a motor vehicle  Nice-to-Have SkillsPrior construction experience What we're offering$18 - $22 per hour depending on experience  Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance  10 days PTO in your first yearPlus 7 paid holidays per year  401(k) plan  And more!  About Simply Solar:At Simply Solar, we are dedicated to helping California communities adopt clean energy and achieve a brighter future.
