Chef and comedian chop it up! Cooking with Comedians is the perfect choice for a fun and immersive activity. Join Chefs of the Meritage Collection of the Napa Valley as they team up with a different comedian every show. Learn the latest trends and classics of food. Participants will gain culinary tips, tricks and confidence to cook more at home, with plenty of laughs and tastes along the way! ​Kitchen doors open at 6:00PM. ​At 6:45 comedian will loosen you up with a short stand-up comedy set. Then the laughs continue as chef and comedian chop it up to bring you a memorable evening of fun and fabulous food. A glass of wine or beer is included with your dinner. Her new short film, Gay Haircut, premieres at South by Southwest Film Festival in March 2022! This David Roth is not the lead singer of Van Halen and his middle name isn't Lee. He's a Brooklyn-based stand-up comedian who has performed in dozens of festivals like Outside Lands and SF Sketchfest, despite his father's wishes. David has also written two Super Bowl commercials and his joke writing book for kids - LOL 101 - is set for a spring 2023 release with Chronicle Books. ​ Chef Bryan Gardner: After studying English and History at the University of Southern Maine, Chef Bryan Gardner longed to fulfill his passion for food. He went on to study culinary arts at the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. After graduating in 2005 he launched an impressive career working among some of Napa’s finest Michelin Star restaurants. He expanded his food horizons in 2008 and became the Executive Chef at the Relain & Chateaux property, Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Bryan returned to Calistoga in 2012 and went on to leverage his culinary prowess in the Napa Valley. Bryan’s fondness for food began while he was growing up in New England; he was born into a family of foodies and raised on some of the finest seafood from the Coast of Maine.
