Join the Brewery Owner, the house Chef and our Head Brewer to explore the pairings of a delicious four course meal, with four of our most interesting and flavorsome ales, in the brewery production cellar.
The background to each pairing will be explained by the Brewer and Chef. The Owner will be on hand to guide the curious through the history of brewing in Galena. Did you know that Red Stripe beer was produced in Galena for 100 yrs before it went to Jamaica?
Menu for the Feb 25th Beer Pairing Dinner
Soup Sausage Tortellini. This soup is a cream based soup loaded with Italian sausage, cheese tortellini, kale, chicken broth and cream.
Salad Spinach strawberry salad. Fresh baby spinach, sweet berries, feta cheese, crisp bacon, and toasted almonds. Our warm bacon dressing is served on the side with lavosh crackers.
Entrée Wild mushroom shrimp risotto. Notes of garlic, onions, and Parmesan cheese wrap around succulent shrimp, sautéed wild mushrooms, and creamy basmati rice. Served with garlic knots.
Dessert Chef made cannoli. Cannoli is a tube shaped shell made from deep fried pastry dough, filled with a slightly sweet, creamy ricotta filing.
