Press release from the City of Oakdale: December 6, 2020 There has been an increase in COVID-19 transmission in the East Metro and across the state. As a result, in the interest of protecting the safety and health of our citizens and employees, city facilities will be closed the public effective Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 through Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 (this date was extended from the original date of Jan. 4). Facilities that will be closed include City Hall, Public Works, the Discovery Center, and facilities such as warming houses, etc. The only exception is the Police Department, which will remain open to the public. City staff are available by phone and email to assist with essential services. Residents are encouraged to access city services online when able at ci.oakdale.mn.us.
