Join [gather] for an evening of conversation and light bites to launch our Spring BUILD series with the first event. Before the process of building a strong foundation - putting down floorboards, piping and plumbing - a builder must first draft up a design and develop a plan for the foundation. What are you building on, and how do you plan? As we think about the different areas of our lives - our lifestyle habits and certain world views we might have spent so long building - we may find that with the arrival of unexpected life events and conditions in the world, we may have to rebuild, renovate and reset our foundations, to build on something that will last; acknowledging that whatever we build, we can invite and attract others to come and experience hope, to feel known, seen and cared for. As we launch the first [gather] series of 2022 season in our 5th year of [gather]ing, we want to think critically about the foundations of things, the outline of where we want to go for our next best steps in a new type of world. *Exact address will be provided upon event confirmation. Our mission is to bring women into community by providing them with a space for conversation, and to empower them by highlighting their strengths and showcasing their voices through hosting events, and creating leadership resources and service initiatives.
