Street Sweeping Company based out of Central Phoenix looking to hire a full-time Shop Assistant to assist in day-to-day maintenance and repairs of street sweeper fleet. We are willing to train if candidate is willing to learn and adapt to our fast-paced environment. Requirements: - Must have a valid AZ Driver License and a clean driving record - Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. - Must be organized in shop area and be able to maintain a clean work environment at all times. - Must be able to fill out reports legibly on a daily basis. - Must be willing to work regular work hours assigned, some weekends and respond to on-call/field situations as needed. - Must be able to interact with other employees in a professional manner at all times. Desired Qualifications: - Knowledge of hydraulic systems; some electrical; changing parts/ordering parts; air brakes; equipment repairs and being able to troubleshoot issues. - Owning tools is a plus, but not necessarily a requirement. - Knowledge of street sweeper functionality is a plus, but not necessarily a requirement. This is a full time position and pay will be negotiated depending on experience and skill level.
