Campers will explore their natural world while in a fun environment with crafts, hiking, water games, and science-based activities! Our mission at WaterWays is to connect kids to their outdoor spaces and empower them to make a positive impact! We hope that your kids leave our camps with great memories and the tools to be advocates for the environment. This year, we will be on the following campuses: Audubon Acres, McCoy Farm and Gardens, and Greenway Farms. Audubon Acres | June 6-10 Address: 900 N Sanctuary Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421, United States If your camper loves to swim and hunt for critters, this is the camp for them! Audubon Acres has loads of wonderful hiking trails and access points to South Chickamauga Creek. South Chick is one of WaterWays’ favorite spots to catch macroinvertebrates, and we plan to spend every day exploring in the creek! Some of the fun activities we offer include: Swimming Tie-DyeNature JournalingHikingFriday CookoutWater GamesScience ExperimentsCreek Stomping and Critter CollectionsCamp Details: Monday-Friday $200.00 per camper For ages 7-11 (flexible for siblings) 9:00 am start time - 3:00pm pick up time Snacks provided (please provide a lunch Mon-Thur) Friday lunch cookout!*Registration is required for camp attendance. Our mission is to empower kids and communities to take better care of our water where we live, work, and play. We beleive clean water means healthy communities. We participate in envrionmental education with kids and adults alike, we work with local business and government on watershed restoration projects, and we help communities find sustainable watershed management solutions. We also run The Gear Closet, Chattanooga's very own outdoor gear thrift/consignment shop.
