Join us for a hands-on Monarch Day of Action where we'll plant narrowleaf milkweed and pollinator plants perfect for our butterfly friends! Join us for a fun and safe Monarch Day of Action restoring our campus hillside in Oak Park. Work will consist of planting hundreds of live plants grown from locally collected seed, along with mulching, watering and weeding the planting site. This activity is appropriate for ages 5 and up. The event will run from 12pm to 2 pm . Please bring water, sunscreen, a sun hat, and hand trowel if you have one. Wearing hiking attire, closed toe shoes and pants and long-sleeved shirt are recommended. Directions: Using google maps, search for the Oak View High School at 5801 Conifer St, Oak Park, CA 91377. You may park in the district parking lot and head toward the Oak View High School campus. There will be signs to welcome volunteers. Contact: [email protected]
