Learn about our facilities and programs. Position Overview Solid Waste Facility Worker participates in the operations at County-owned and operated Recycling and Garbage Facilities. Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the worker collects fees and assists in operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment for these Solid Waste facilities. Work is often performed independently.
