Description
Available for adoption is an exceptionally sweet doe kit. Bitty-Bun is one of the friendliest you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Handled since birth, Bitty-Bun is very well socialized. Bitty-Bun's story is an interesting one: Several domestic rabbits were turned loose to fend for themselves. A dear friend of ours discovered them and began live-trapping them to adopt out to good homes. Bitty-Bun is one of several kits kindled from these abandoned rabbits. She is five weeks old and ready for her forever home. She is robust and has a gentle, inquisitive personality. She is a very happy rabbit! Bitty-Bun loves people and exploring, and is immaculately tidy. Easy to catch and hold, her best quality is that she is not a biter. She loves cardboard, alfalfa, and frolicking in the yard. Though she lives outdoors, Bitty-Bun loves coming into the house for "couch time" to watch tv with us, and especially likes our German Shepherd's dog cot. She would make a fantastic candidate for an indoor companion, and I believe would be very easy to train to a litter box. For those who love gardening, a pet rabbit or two make excellent vegetable recyclers and produce some of nature’s finest organic, small round, pelleted form of fertilizer! “Bunny honey” (manure) is approximately 2 percent nitrogen, 1 percent phosphorus and 1 percent potassium. Use it fresh, straight from under the hutch or litter pan! It does not burn plants. Use the pellets to topdress your lawn, mulch roses, vegetables, flower beds and ornamental plantings, or supercharge your compost pile and create an earthworm heaven. Rabbit manure has four times more nutrients than cow or horse manure and is twice as rich as chicken manure. We would love for Bitty-Bun to find a forever home where she can have couch time, cuddles, and eat carrots and banana peels to her heart's content (all the while blessing your blossoming gardens!). We are asking a modest adoption fee of $25 to help cover feed for the rescued rabbits.
