Join us for the Breakfast with an Executive Series, where prominent business executives will share their career insights. Maureen Famiano is an award winning media specialist and expert. She's been in the broadcast arena for more than 30 years. She was a television news reporter, producer and executive producer. She worked locally at NBC - WFLA News Channel 8 for 17 years as a news producer and executive producer of shows like Daytime, Star Watch and Reel Animals Fishing. She was also executive producer of the local CBS show Great Day Live for 4 years. In her time in morning show television she booked close to 15,000 guests on her shows. Maureen began her own company MEFMedia after many guests wanted her to be a consultant to their companies. In creating MEFMedia, Maureen now oversees the branding and strategy building of a company and helps put the spotlight on a business, solopreneur or individual with media outreach and interviews. In the last year, the stories she's worked on have gotten the attention of Ellen Degeneres who sent financial help to a local principal making a difference during Covid-19. Others were awarded community grants for their efforts to make a difference. Recently her media efforts for a non profit had Lady Gaga's team reach out to collaborate on a kindness initiative. She has a motto, #TogetherWeWin and she works to coordinate and spread the good community news and efforts to showcase positive community synergies.
