WISCONSIN — As the state regains minutes of daylight every day, it will soon be time to spring forward in Wisconsin.
Daylight saving time in 2022 begins March 13 around 2 a.m., Timeanddate.com said. Residents will have to turn their clocks forward one hour. Most current devices will likely shift their clocks on their own.
The practice of setting clocks forward one hour from standard time in the spring and back again in the fall is to make better use of natural daylight.
Wisconsin is among 48 states that observe daylight saving time. Hawaii and Arizona don't observe the practice, although the Navajo Nation in the Grand Canyon State does.
Americans by a 63 percent to 16 percent margin favoring ditching daylight saving time altogether, according to a recent Economic/YouGov poll.
