MERRICK, NY — Police have made an arrest in connection to a November bank robbery in Merrick. Demetri Miller, 58, of Uniondale, faces two counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery, detectives said updated a news release on Friday. Miller was scheduled for arraignment on Friday. On the morning of Nov. 8, a man entered the Sterling National Bank (now Webster Bank) on Merrick Road and demanded money from a teller. He fled on foot with the cash.
