NORWALK, CT — Due to Friday's storm, city buildings and offices in Norwalk will have a delayed opening until 10 a.m., city officials said. According to the city's Facebook page, the following delays and closures are also in effect for Friday: City garbage and recycling collection will have a delayed start at 9 a.m.The Norwalk Transfer Station will have a delayed opening at 9 a.m.The Norwalk Yard Waste will have a delayed opening at 9 a.m.COVID-19 testing at Shady Beach will be closed today due to weather.The city asks that travelers stay off the roads and don't crowd the plow Friday.
