Press release from Town of Hamden: February 22, 2022 Hamden – On the evening of Monday, February 14th, a fire engulfed the 22 unit apartment building at 42 Warner Street. Consequently, 60 residents are without homes and their personal belongings were destroyed. Last week, we put out a call for help. We are overwhelmed by the amount of donations we have received from the community in this short period of time. We would like to thank everyone who donated. The Keefe Community Center has over 300 bags of donations. At this time, the Keefe Community Center is only accepting the following donations: Gift Cards New Toys Art Supplies ***Please drop off gift cards, new toys, or art supplies at the Keefe Community Center Monday-Friday, between 8:30am and 4:30pm. *** We have put a secure donation link on the Town website so we can come together as a community of support.
