Broomfield United Methodist Church has an immediate opening for a Facilities Assistant. The position is a part-time (30 hours per week) hourly position, Monday thru Friday and major events, working with the Facilities Manager and other facilities team members to care for the church.
Job Description:
• Provide primary custodial support to the physical plant, including, but not limited to general cleaning, trash management, restroom care, vacuuming, stocking supplies, landscaping, plant care, and snow removal
• Provide supply management services to ensure adequate supplies of cleaning, hospitality and general use items are on hand as needed
• Provide general maintenance support in conjunction with the Facilities Manager to assess, repair or replace maintainable items and systems
• Provide general set up support for groups or meetings held at the physical plant
• Provide training of new facility staff
• Provide training and supervision for community service volunteers
• Provide on-call snow removal services
Compensation:
Hourly wage is $15.50-16.50. This position is eligible for accrued paid-time-off (PTO), health insurance (90% covered by employer), dental and life insurance (100% covered by employer) and up to 12 paid holidays off annually (depending on typical work schedule).
