NORTH BERGEN, NJ — A North Jersey man poured gasoline on a barber shop floor because he was upset with how his father was treated at the shop, reports said. HudPost, a Hudson County news site, shared surveillance video from The Zone barbershop, on 61st Street in North Bergen. The video shows a man walking into the shop while there are a number of customers inside, including a child, and pouring gasoline onto the floor. Employees tackled the man and held him down until police arrived. According to ABC7NY, 30-year-old Humberto Vanegas was charged with criminal mischief and causing widespread injury or damage. Vanegas told North Bergen police his father had been mistreated at the shop earlier, and said he had argued with shop staff about the price and the cleanliness of the haircutting tools, according to the report. No one was hurt and Vanegas did not attempt to light the gasoline, ABC7NY reported.
