Press release from the City of Johnston: February 24, 2022 The City of Johnston is selling trees to residents at a reduced price of $30 per tree. The sale of trees begins online at 8 a.m. on April 12. The order link will be active at 8 am. on Tuesday, April 12 (www.cityofjohnston.com/FormCenter/Parks-9/2022-Johnston-Residential-Tree-Sale-54). If you click on the link now, you will not be able to order a tree as it is not activated - it will be the morning of the sale. We encourage you to add this link to your calendar on April 12 to ensure you get a tree.Trees will be available for pickup at Crown Point Community Center, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway on Saturday, May 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. Property owners are allowed to purchase one tree and are encouraged to purchase their tree during the April 12 sale, as the supply is limited. Residents who have pre-ordered a tree will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. Any trees not picked up during the allotted time will be considered a donation to the city's tree-planting program.   The tree sale is made possible by the Johnston Lions Club and Johnston Farmers Market. The following trees will be available to purchase.  Once a tree is sold out, the tree will be removed.  This press release was produced by the City of Johnston.
