Here are the top three stories today in Des Moines: The parents of a newborn child are suing a Des Moines hospital and a stranger who apparently fed and changed the child. Police say the stranger, Adam Wedig, got into the neonatal intensive care unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center through a secure door on Dec. 27, changed and fed the child, then left. The criminal complaint states Wedig made "inappropriate comments" and asked nurses "inappropriate questions" about the newborn's care. (U.S. News) Kaleb Wyse of the Wyse Guide shared his passion for gardening and landscaping in a local interview Thursday. Admir Isakovic, 25, was shot four times at a motorcycle club after a ride with friends in July 2021. Police say the suspect, Andrew Harris, may have been high on drugs when he started randomly shooting at the group of friends. Isakovic's family says they are overloaded with medical bills and are raising funds through a GoFundMe.
